" P.A.C.E. is an acronym standing for Police Air Support Units Networking Centre Europe"
PACE is a network of delegated and individual members of European police air
support units as well as associated members , founded during the "First
International Police Air Support Units Conference" in Brussels, 1998.
Vision
The vision behind PACE is a dream of police air support being totally effective and giving "best value for money" thanks to the close mutual support of all European police air support units. The PACE philosophy is based on the following principles: -
-Every air support unit and project team establishing an air support unit should stop trying to "reinvent the wheel"
-Since the means of all police forces in general and of police air support units in particular are limited, one should try to get the optimum use of the allocated means via co-operation and mutual support.
